Keno

Keno is an interesting game brought to the US sometime in 1800 by Chinese railway workers. Some say that the origins go back deeper, mainly 2000 years ago. The game is similar to Lotto and it is quite easy to play.

The game originally started approximately with 120 numbers and was then dropped to the familiar 80 numbers somewhere in the 1900's. To make sure that the game will make itself trough the rough banns of laws, the numbers were changed to racehorse names and the name of the game became "racehorse keno".

Today it is played by thousands of people, being an exciting pastime, offering the possibility of winning large payouts on relatively small wagers. Each ticket is numbered from 1 to 80, corresponding to the numbered balls in the keno bowl. 20 numbers are randomly drawn and will appear on the keno board.

Each player chooses or marks up to 15 numbers and wagers a desired amount and a simple comparison to the selected numbers and the numbers drawn on the keno board will reveal the winner. When playing Keno online, most casinos will offer you a feature where their computer can randomly select as many numbers for you as you like. It will also display your potential payoff on the screen, adjusting as you pick more or less numbers and bet different amounts of money and you will also have an option of choosing how many games you would like to play.

If you like challenge, Keno is a quick and easy way at winning a lottery, regardless to the hour especially when playing online.
